5 Minute Garlic Shrimp

2 lbs of raw shrimp

1 Tbs of Honey

2 Tbs of Sambal Chili Sauce or 1 Tbs of Asian Chili Oil

7 Cloves of Garlic chopped

2 green onions chopped

bunch of fresh cilantro

1/2 a lime wedge

2 Tbs of Oyster Sauce

1 Tbs of Rice Wine, Sake or White wine

1 Tbs of Canola Oil

1 green or red Thai Chili or Jalepeno

Put all the sauces ( Sambal, honey, oyster sauce) in a small bowl and stir to keep on hand when you cook since this dish comes together very quickly. Then heat a large skillet with canola oil, add the garlic for about 1 minute. Add the shrimp quickly for another minute and pour the white wine to deglaze the pan. Then add the sauce mixture and stir everything well. Garnish the shrimp dish with green onions, sesame seeds, peanuts and fresh cilantro with a squeeze of lime! Serve this with the Mint and Basil Stir-fry and Thai Cucumber salad on instant frozen brown rice from Trader Joe’s.
